Rebekah Donaldson is an experienced marketer of professional services firms.
Donaldson set out in 2001 to establish a b2b marketing organization fluent in marketing strategy, Web technologies, lead generation, and public relations.
Her venture, Business Communications Group, is a business to business full-service marketing agency in the Sacramento region. The firm's work has been praised by Sutter Health, Cisco Systems, Allstate, SureWest, and many others.
The American Marketing Association (AMA) recognized Donaldson in 2006 for integration of marketing and sales at client companies. Her advice has appeared in American City Business Journals, The Sacramento Bee, Bacon’s Navigator, NAWBOTime, and other outlets.
She has served on the regional boards of AeA, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She has represented the Sacramento region on the Executive Committee of the Silicon Valley/Northern California Council of AeA, the nation’s largest technology trade association; and, earlier, was on the Executive Committee of the Sacramento Council of AeA.
She Chairs the Media and Marketing Committee of the Discovery Museum Board of Directors, overseeing marketing of the Powerhouse Science Center, an initiative to create an innovative science center and planetarium on Jibboom Street in Old Sacramento.
She is a member of the Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA) Marketing Committee, AMA B2B Discussion Group, and Sacramento Public Relations Association (SPRA).
Donaldson holds a master’s in Philosophy from UC Davis and a bachelor’s in Philosophy from University of Rochester.
